“40 Centers for a “Satiated Year

It seems that, at the beginning and at the end of each Jewish New Year, “The Hasdei Naomi” Organization volunteers want to break another personal record.
On the previous New Year, there was a group of volunteers, who uninterruptedly worked for a full week.
For this New Year, the record has been marked with the national extent of the activities: 40 food distribution centers have been activated in preparation for the coming New Year.

The aim is:

For the last three weeks, tens of IDF soldiers, groups of employees’ committees, teenagers and hundreds of volunteers have been visiting “THE HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION warehouses and packing thousands of “Holiday Sets” for the needy families.
The “Holiday Sets” include most of the basic food products for the family like: oil, noodles, rice, various types of beans, tuna, canned goods, chicken soup, ritual grape juice, and more. And also candies for the children and the ritual signs of the New Year Holiday: honey, dates, pomegranates, etc.

Besides the basic food products, each family will receive a number of chickens and plenty of fruit and vegetables.

HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION have increased their appeal to the producers, packaging firms, farmers and large food corporations to donate more and more. Parallelly, they are appealing to the general public to please donate and call the free number of “THE HASDEI NAOMI” hub center at: 1-800-677-777, or on-line at our trusted site: http://www.neomi.org.il or by sending the word Donation by SMS to the number 2288 (the short message represents a donation of 10 NIS).

Dry food products [like sugar, flour, etc] can be donated directly to our mobile collection carts (“Mom, you promised us chicken for Shabbath”), which are located close to the shopping malls.
