Recommendation
I hereby recommend highly the great and illustrious chessed organization Chasdei Naomi, located in Bnei Brak to the glory of that city, may Hashem protect it.
This organization was founded over thirty years ago by a man of extensive activity in the world of Torah, a preeminent figure involved in matters of holiness, our Rabbi, Rav Yosef Cohen Shlita, with the aim of supporting and assisting needy orphans, widows, people of little means, and full-time kollel students. Chasdei Naomi aids thousands of families each month and distributes large numbers of food baskets to those in need. They have also established the Armonot Chen banquet hall, where widows are able to celebrate their children’s weddings with economy and dignity.
They already enjoy a shining reputation, and great Torah sages, may they live long, have given the organization their sanction, first and foremost MAAMR, Raban shel Yisrael, Posek haDor Rabenu Ovadia Yosef, zecher tzadik v’kadosh livracha, who recognized and greatly valued the blessed and prodigious efforts of our Rabbi, Rav Yosef Cohen Shlita, and who encouraged him to continue with his holy work.
It remains only to commend all of those who help and assist Chasdei Naomi in its necessary work. Those who promote the welfare of orphans and the needy; especially today, when costs are escalating and many families of avrechim have, unfortunately, entered the cycle of poverty. There are many who knock on the organization’s doors seeking assistance, but due to inadequate funds their requests cannot be met. May it be the will of Heaven that all those involved, and all of their efforts, be blessed from above in all possible abundance. May they merit being among those who give aid and not those who receive it. And may the promise of Hashem Yitbarach be fulfilled through them: If you make mine rejoice – I will make yours rejoice. And may they derive holy joy from all of their descendents, in mental and physical health, in abundance of joy and goodness. Amen.
With the blessing of the Torah,
Yizhak Yosef
