A Backpack for every child -Starting the Year with #fullschoolbags

End-of-school-year parties, eyes sparkling with glee – And naturally our thoughts turn to the next school year and preparations for it. 

So exciting!

But not for everyone, unfortunately …

Just Before the new year starts and while thousands of families and their children are Ready to return to school with everything they need, we’re at Chasdei Naomi contuning with our campaign 

This year as before, thousands of parents won’t be able to buy their children the backpacks they’ve dreamed of, filled with new notebooks and pencil cases bursting with colorful school supplies, just like all their classmates have.

Their happy thoughts of the coming school year will give way to worry – to an awareness that every shekel they spend on school supplies will be one fewer meal they can put on the table.

We’re here for those thousands of families, for their thousands of children.

This is the tenth year we’re running our #fullschoolbags campaign – a back-to-school kit for every child.

To date, we’ve provided tens of thousands of children from needy families with new backpacks full of school supplies.

This year we’re going to do it again – together!

Your donations will enable us to purchase new backpacks and fill them with everything these children need. And with the aid of our tens of thousands of volunteers, we’ll pack up these back-to-school kits and transport them to needy families all over the country – families we help throughout the year, whose numbers, sadly, increase by the month. We’re here for all of them.

We invite you, too, to join us, to give what you can, and together we’ll make sure that every child starts the school year with a #fullschoolbag and a smile on his or her face.
