A dedicated group of american volunteers from “Taglit”project recently arrived to Israel for a special week-long volunteering work. As the joyous holiday of Purim approaches, these volunteers have focused their efforts on supporting Chasdei Naomi activity .
The volunteers, who traveled thousands of miles came to Chasdei Naomi’s logistics warehouses in Tel aviv , in order to prepare food baskets for families in need. Their timing couldn’t have been more meaningful, as Purim is traditionally a time for giving gifts of food (mishloach manot) and charitable donations to the poor (matanot la’evyonim).
Chasdei Naomi provides support to thousands of underprivileged families across Israel through various aid programs. During the holidays, our operations significantly expand andAnd the goal is to succeed in making as many families happy as possible and helping them celebrate Purim with dignity.
For many of the volunteers, this experience has been both eye-opening and deeply rewarding , They all testified that there’s something special about physically putting the food at the boxes is something very rewarding.
