Hundreds of Volunteers from
Major Companies at Chasdei Naomi

During the month of Elul, as part of the preparations for the Tishrei holidays, groups of employees from major companies in the Israeli economy arrive for significant volunteering. Among these companies are NVIDIA, IBM, Netivei Israel, Assuta, and more.

The groups that arrived donate their time to pack special food baskets for Rosh Hashanah. Each food basket includes a variety of essential products for the holiday meal, aiming to ensure that every family can celebrate the holiday with dignity.

NVIDIA Employees

NVIDIA employees arrived at Chasdei Naomi’s logistics warehouse as part of a special volunteering day. During the day, the employees packed over 150 unique food baskets for Rosh Hashanah, containing the best traditional products for the holiday, including honey, dates, honey cakes, and other essential items for the holiday meal.

The food baskets packed by NVIDIA employees were distributed that same evening, and thanks to their amazing teamwork, Chasdei Naomi was able to assist hundreds of families in need. The collaboration with companies like NVIDIA emphasizes the importance of social contribution and helps the organization continue its blessed activities

Assuta HaShalom Employees

Assuta employees came once again to Chasdei Naomi’s logistics warehouse for significant volunteering before the Tishrei holidays. During the day, they packed special food baskets for Rosh Hashanah, which included all the traditional holiday symbols such as honey, dates, and additional products to ensure every family has a respectable holiday meal.

This is not the first time Assuta employees have taken part in Chasdei Naomi’s volunteering activities; their return to volunteer at Chasdei Naomi demonstrates the connection between the organization and Assuta employees.

Electra Power Employees

Electra Power employees arrived for the first time at Chasdei Naomi’s logistics warehouse for a significant volunteering day before Rosh Hashanah.

They came to volunteer at the organization’s warehouse in Tel Aviv, where they received guidance and packed food baskets for Rosh Hashanah. The employees greatly enjoyed the experience and promised to return and volunteer again in the future. One volunteer noted: “The food baskets are very respectable, containing quality products that can really be used to prepare a good meal.” Thanks to their dedicated volunteering, Chasdei Naomi was able to help more needy families celebrate Rosh Hashanah with dignity.

Young Volunteers through Onward Israel

A group of young volunteers from the other side of the world – from Australia, the United States, and Canada – came to Chasdei Naomi as part of a special delegation through the **Onward Israel** organization. The young people, who came to Israel to volunteer and make an impact, chose to take part in Chasdei Naomi’s volunteering activities before Rosh Hashanah.

The volunteers packed unique holiday food baskets, driven by a deep sense of mission to assist vulnerable populations. They noted that volunteering at Chasdei Naomi was a meaningful and moving experience for them, and they are proud to be part of the effort to give needy families an opportunity to celebrate Rosh Hashanah with dignity and joy

Border Police Soldiers

Among the many volunteers, soldiers from the Border Police (Magav) also came to volunteer at Chasdei Naomi’s logistics warehouse, as part of the preparations for distributing food baskets for Rosh Hashanah. The soldiers took an active part in packing special holiday baskets, which included honey, dates, and honey cakes alongside other essential products, aiming to ensure that families in difficult circumstances, Holocaust survivors, and elderly people with financial difficulties can celebrate Rosh Hashanah in a dignified manner and have a sweet new year.

IBM Employees

Employees of IBM, one of the largest and leading technology companies in the world, also came to volunteer at Chasdei Naomi’s logistics warehouse before Rosh Hashanah. As an international company with tens of thousands of employees worldwide, IBM is committed to values of community contribution and social action. As part of the volunteering, the employees assisted in packing unique holiday food baskets, aiming to help needy families and ensure that they can all celebrate Rosh Hashanah with dignity.

 

The employees noted their sense of satisfaction from taking part in a meaningful activity, packing food baskets for Rosh Hashanah at Chasdei Naomi. They expressed how important the organization’s work is and how essential the products that Chasdei Naomi distributes are for many people

Pointer employees

Pointer company employees also came to volunteer at Chasdei Naomi. Pointer, one of the leading companies in vehicle tracking and management systems, came to volunteer at Chasdei Naomi’s logistics warehouse before Rosh Hashanah. Teams from the engineering and marketing departments, along with department VPs Yaniv Baruch (VP of Marketing) and Oded Bosmi (VP of Engineering), mobilized for the important task of packing food baskets for the holiday.

 

During the volunteering session, Pointer teams collaborated and demonstrated team spirit as they packed thousands of food items into respectable holiday baskets. Their joint activity in the warehouse created a sense of deep commitment and satisfaction from the opportunity to contribute to Israeli society before the holiday.

Netivei Israel employees

The employees of Netivei Israel also recently arrived at the Chasdei  Naomi logistics warehouse to donate their time as part of the preparations for the Tishrei holidays. The teams that arrived included employees from a variety of departments, who collaborated in packing food baskets for Rosh Hashanah, while assisting in the preparation of baskets that include traditional holiday productossuch as honey and dates.

The employees expressed their satisfaction with the opportunity to contribute to the community and be part of a significant social activity that will help many families celebrate the holiday with dignity and joy .

The employees of the Israel Tax Authority

The employees of the Israel Tax Authority also joined the voluntary activity of Chasdei Naomi, they arrived at the distribution point in Bat Yam. During the volunteering, the employees took part in distributing food baskets to needy families on the occasion of the Tishrei holidays, and donated their time to ensure that each family received the products they needed for the holiday.

The employees expressed a sense of satisfaction and pride for being able to directly help needy populations, and to be part of an activity that guarantees a happy and respectful holiday for families throughout the city

Police officers from Moriah Talfiot station, Jerusalem

The police officers  of the Moriah Telfiot station in Jerusalem were found volunteering at the Jerusalem branch of Chasdei Naomi in preparation for the Tishrei holidays.

Combining volunteering, the police officers help pack unique food baskets for Rosh Hashanah, which are intended to be distributed to families.

The police officers expressed their commitment to the local community through the activity, and emphasized the feeling of satisfaction from the possibilities of being part of a personal activity for the holiday.

During Chasdei Naomi’s Rosh Hashanah project, hundreds of volunteers from all over Israel came to donate their time and participate in the blessed work of packing food baskets for the holiday. Groups of employees from businesses, organizations, public bodies, and even delegations from abroad joined in this important endeavor, arriving to volunteer and assist in preparing baskets that will give needy families the opportunity to celebrate Rosh Hashanah with dignity.
