Noa Perry, Deputy CEO of Materna, visited Chasdei Naomi’s headquarters last week.
She began her tour with preschools in Bnei Brak where she heard the teachers and children talk about their annual mobilization for the Materna Mitzvah
campaign.
The teachers expressed appreciation of Materna’s efforts and explained how the campaign enables them to involve the children in an activity that helps others (the children bring empty Materna containers and spoons from home).
Ms. Perry was visibly moved by the sight of the cartons situated in each preschool, used by the teachers to collect the Materna containers and spoons.
From the preschools Ms. Perry proceeded to the organization offices and storage facilities. Moshe Cohen, Chasdei Naomi’s CEO, presented an overview of the organization’s activity, while Dina Namdar introduced the distinguished visitor to the logistical complexities involved in operating such a large-scale campaign – one that reaches thousands of educational institutions and in which thousands of volunteers make the rounds of residential buildings in almost all parts of the country.
The Materna Deputy CEO expressed great admiration for Chasdei Naomi’s activities, noting that she was highly gratified by the partnership which has been in existence for 15 years.
