Holocaust Survivors Near the Gaza Strip are afraid to leave their homes! Chasdei Naomi is bringing warmth and hope to Israel this winter

The Chasdei Naomi winter project returns! An exciting initiative aimed at spreading warmth in the homes and hearts of the elderly.

This Year, Chasdei Naomi, and Lev Naomi, assembled hundreds of Tu BiShvat Gift Baskets, and distributed them to Hospitals all over Israel.

The Knesset Israel’s governement, met with Chasdei Naomi and a variety of non profit organizations, to discuss the state of poverty in Israel

Students from the Ida Crown Jewish Academy are on a three week visit to Israel, during which they’ve been visiting significant destinations around Israel.
The group stopped by the Wailing wall, Mt. Herzel, the Shuk in Jerusalem, and Chasdei Naomi’s Jerusalem Branch.

“For Yad Vashem, this is a way of thanking the survivors who provide us with testimonies and information about the Holocaust.
All the employees bonded, it was really fun!”

When the people from Zaka arrived, you could tell they were surprised! Chasdei Naomi wanted to help them take a break from their daily lives

“Wow, I was expecting volunteers! Thank you so much!” The Chasdei Naomi Team Volunteered from their personal free time, to pick crops with the farmer who helps provide fresh food for holocaust survivors and families in need.

“You are like angels, thank you! I am so happy to see you again!” Since October 7, 2023, Reeli and many other Holocaust survivors feel that the nightmare continues, and find themselves feeling that Judaism is in danger again. 
Therefore, Chasdei Naomi came up with a festive initiative in honor of Hanukah!
