Purim 2025 Summary
During the Purim holiday, the “Chasdei Naomi” organization conducted various touching initiatives aimed at bringing joy and assistance to different communities throughout Israel. The organization’s team brought happiness and aid to soldiers, Holocaust survivors, the elderly, and underprivileged families.
Holiday Preparations - Many Volunteers
For the holiday, Chasdei Naomi distributed food packages containing a variety of food products to help their beneficiaries prepare a respectable holiday meal. These food packages were packed by numerous volunteer groups who came to the organization’s branches across the country.
Among the groups was a “Taglit” (Birthright) participant group who came to Israel for a week of volunteering and visited Chasdei Naomi’s Tel Aviv branch, where they assisted with holiday preparations. Another group arrived at the Jerusalem branch – a group of female police officers who packed fruits and vegetables for Purim and Good Deeds Day.
Blessed volunteer activity was also seen at the Tiberias branch for Purim. Children from “Tikvah/Zichron Meir” kindergarten, in collaboration with the organization, collected products and funds for orphans, widows, and those in need. Additionally, children from ‘Malchei Yisrael’ street in Zichron Yaakov collected products and sweets, and packed food packages for the elderly, Holocaust survivors, and needy families.
All the many volunteers who assisted with Chasdei Naomi’s activities for the Purim holiday contributed greatly to the success of the organization’s important holiday work, for which Chasdei Naomi thanks them.
Purim Holiday Events
During Purim, Chasdei Naomi conducts several different events to bring joy and assistance to as many people as possible. Among the special activities this year, Chasdei Naomi created a “Dwarf and Giant” collaboration where students from ‘Ort-Givat Ram’ school prepared personal food packages, wrote greetings, and distributed them to Holocaust survivors and the elderly, who were moved by the attention and warm treatment.
The Chasdei Naomi team also traveled especially to the city of Ashkelon. There, members of the organization visited the homes of elderly residents in costumes, distributed food packages containing mainly food products and some sweets as is customary, and dispelled their loneliness with a festive atmosphere and warm embrace.
Chasdei Naomi also continued during Purim to bring joy to soldiers. The organization’s team distributed hundreds of food packages among the bases in the Jerusalem envelope area, with the aim of bringing happiness to soldiers serving in the area who work day and night to maintain security.
Looking Forward
Chasdei Naomi worked extensively during the holiday to bring joy to as many people as possible. Chasdei Naomi thanks everyone who chose to donate their time or money for the Purim project. Chasdei Naomi does not stop its activities; they continue to assist underprivileged families, Holocaust survivors, and elderly people in need throughout the year.
Purim is now behind us and Passover is approaching with giant steps. At Chasdei Naomi, preparations for the holiday have already begun.
