The Activists and the Volunteers of “The Hasdei Naomi” Charity Organization have set a new Charity record when they worked continuously during a week for the preparation of the “Holiday Packages” intended for thousands of needy families. On the Eve of the New Year 5770, the “THE HASDEI NAOMI” CHARITY ORGANIZATION volunteers set a new record in advancing Charity : during a full week the numerous volunteers have worked continuously without respite in the preparation of thousands of “Holiday Packages”.
The Packages, which contained the main basic food products for the family together with meat and poultry, generous amounts of fruit and vegetables, and all the traditional “Simanim” of the Holiday [like the apple-with-honey so we enjoy a year as round as an apple as sweet as honey, pomegranates seeds so we may have as many good deeds as there are seeds, etc.], were distributed to the thousand of needy families up to a few hours before the beginning of the Holiday.
The Chairman of “THE HASDEI NAOMI” ORGANIZATION Rabbi Yossef Cohen told us : “As we do every year, we began to organize ourselves plenty of time before the Holiday in order to provide the thousands of “Packages” to the needy families. But to our regret, the wave of requests was so massive and huge, that our early organization did not suffice and it so happened that, without intention, our volunteers had to be active almost continuously for a week, and all this in order not
