While many are taking out their winter gear, others are forced to choose between heating their homes and buying food
These days, as nighttime temperatures drop and the cold begins to be felt, Chasdei Naomi charity organization is launching an emergency campaign to warm the hearts and homes of Holocaust survivors, elderly people, and underprivileged families. Many people experiencing financial hardship across the country cannot afford even the most basic heating expenses.
The harsh reality reveals a worrying picture: young children sleeping under thin blankets, elderly people suffering from cold in their apartments, and many Holocaust survivors being forced to choose between heating their homes and other basic needs. This year again, Chasdei Naomi is launching its winter project, but this year more than ever, Chasdei Naomi needs public help and support in raising donations for essential heating equipment: heaters, warm blankets, coats, and winter clothing. Every donation, big or small, can make the difference between a freezing night and a warm night at home.
Joining Chasdei Naomi’s winter project is an opportunity to provide heating supply packages to underprivileged families, Holocaust survivors, and elderly people who need heating in winter. Beyond physical warmth, they receive a warm embrace of care and concern. “You warmed my heart and my home,” said a Holocaust survivor who received a package from Chasdei Naomi in winter. Every donation is welcome and will help Chasdei Naomi warm another home and heart of those in need.
